Having a good listing on Baidu is essential for Chinese tourists to find your business. A good page with reviews builds trust and helps the decision making: which attractions to visit? Which restaurant is good around here? Where can I buy unique gifts?
Three tips to create an attractive presence on baidu maps
- Create great Chinese text: introduce your business and explain why it is a must visit and what makes it unique in your region.
- Make sure that information in Chinese is complete: opening hours, phone numbers, website… Did you forget anything?
- Attractive photos are very important: choose pictures that convey the experience that Chinese visitors will have at your business. Show pictures of humans, interactions, your services. Make sure that the photos reflect your brand and what it stands for! For restaurants: photos of the dishes and drinks are most important!
